Lunar New Year at World Square 🧧
Lunar New Year is all about fresh beginnings, good fortune and coming together, and World Square is celebrating with colour, culture and community.
Join us in the Square for a traditional Lion Dance performance on Monday 17 February, from 10:45am to 11:45am. Expect lively drumming, bold movement and festive energy as we welcome the new year in true Lunar New Year style.
While you’re visiting, explore Lunar New Year inspired offers across the precinct, including festive treats, limited time promotions and lucky red envelope draws available at selected retailers.
Mardi Gras Celebrations 🌈
Mardi Gras season is all about love, inclusivity and celebration, and we’re bringing the party to World Square for one fabulous lunchtime event.
Join us on Saturday 28 February from 12pm to 2pm for a one day only Mardi Gras celebration in the Square. Enjoy performances by drag queens Cassandra The Queen and Fairah Nuff, plus a DJ spinning classic Mardi Gras anthems to keep the energy high.
It’s the perfect excuse to take a break, soak up the atmosphere and celebrate diversity right in the heart of the city.
