It’s Beautiful and Useful X World Square X Sydney Fringe
You will be greeted by eye-catching art that’s exuberant, playful and teaming with joy, thanks to a unique collaboration between It’s Beautiful and Useful Studio (IBU) and Sydney Fringe- Live in Colour by Matthew Aberline and Maurice Goldberg
The multi-media installation features a large-scale, mind-blowing suspended inflatable structure at the entrance of George and Liverpool Street. Live in Colour is made of a fabric that is constructed predominantly from recycled PET drinking bottles - speaking to IBU’s focus on practicing art sustainably. Using fashion and design as a mode for radical, unfettered self expression and breaking down the barriers to creativity.

After nearly two years confined to our homes, artists and creatives around town are bursting to show you what they’ve been up to. With over 500 shows across 80 venues around town, it’s a little hard to decide just what you should be seeing. This is where our Cultural Concierge’s come into play.
Want to grab some dumplings and see a drama, sip cabernet and watch a cabaret or hit up a drag show and dine? To complement the artwork, we are thrilled to introduce the Cultural Concierge Program. Cultural Concierge have set up home in the Centre and will be on hand to tailor your perfect World Square X Fringe experience, just for you.
