Welcome to the World Square Social Club. A place you can call home at the crossroad of cultures, a place where art meets music, where friendships are made and memories are cherished. A place to feel inspired and have the freedom to express yourself.
From March to August, we will be hosting so many diverse and exciting experiences for you to enjoy with your friends, family or even on your own for some soul-searching!
World Square Social Club is all about letting the creative juices flow so check out our events below and be sure to save yourself a spot:
1. Mindful Art – Acrylic Pouring
This workshop series is all about expressing yourself through acrylic paint pouring and just being in the moment.
Leah Robinson from Creative Resonance will run daily masterclasses and art experiences until 27 May, including group art healing circles, art healing sessions, acrylic pour painting workshops and more. Grab yourself a coffee and experience the Mindful Art workshops in a beautiful pop-up space located opposite Kingswood Coffee.

2. Beats, Games & Good Vibes
Gather the crew and take a seat in Liverpool Lane to enjoy the live DJ sets running every Friday night from 5 March – 23 April. Enjoy good company and a great atmosphere with friends and family from 5pm – 9pm. It’s a vibe!
Whether you’re a sushi or fried chicken lover, or simply want to enjoy your bottle of Asahi with your favourite ramen dish, there’s something for everyone in Liverpool Lane. While you’re there, grab a board-game of your choice from Gami Chicken and let the games begin!

3. Discover Her World – Now You See Her
To celebrate International Women’s Day, SheSaw is hosting a month-long event series centred around a portrait exhibition of 12 ‘hidden women’ of Sydney in which you can experience a self-guided walkthrough on the new SheSaw app. Located in a beautiful pop-up space on the corner of George and Goulburn Streets, they’ll also be featuring talks, master-classes and book launches from amazing women, as well as kids workshops during Easter holidays.
Get involved and help SheSaw reach its goal of sharing 1 million women’s stories by adding one to their selfie wall, putting even more women on the map, where they belong.

4. Discover Her World – Now You Hear Her
Curated by Lamorna Nightingale, Bree van Reyk and Damian Barbeler of BackStage Music, Now You Hear Her is a vibrant and joyful celebration of all the musical women in our lives! Held from 8 March until 11 April in a beautiful pop-up space on the corner of George and Goulburn Streets, Now You Hear Her is a month-long event series not to be missed.
Enjoy free showcases of diverse, experimental music-making from the local musicians, including live performances, talks, movie nights and listening parties. These free-flowing events will be relaxed, sociable and a chance to listen and learn from some of our most inspiring women artists.

5. A World of Colour – World Square Re-imagined
Grab your mobiles and cameras World Square fam because parts of World Square are about to be transformed into a World of Colour!
Starting from mid-April, you’ll be able to experience mesmerising large-scale artworks throughout the World Square precinct that are sure to be a mood booster!
Get ready to step outside your homes and offices for a dose of vibrancy that you’ll want to take a snap of.

6. Soulful Sounds
As the months start to get colder, get ready to rug up at World Square and eat delicious food, while enjoying the live music hosted by Harc Entertainment and proudly supported by the City of Sydney.
Four days a week for four months straight, enjoy a series of free concerts, featuring a variety of bands, duos, trios and solo artists performing in a range of genres, from 90’s, jazz and blues, to pop, rock, R&B, funk and more!
Join us in Liverpool Lane every Thursday to Saturday from 11am – 3pm and Sunday from 10am – 2pm.
